On Wednesday, May 22nd, The Heartwood Ensemble, a locally-based, New Age Music group played in the main program room at the library.
For an hour, the 4 member group enchanted the audience with mesmerizing sounds from a digeridoo, flutes, a clarinet, a brass drum and indigenous bongos.
Characterizing themselves as a fusion, or a world music group, The Heartwood Ensemble have played at many regional events, most recently the Drums Along the Esopus festival, the 2019 RiverArts Music Tour, and coming up in August, the Ohio Valley Indigenous Music Festival.
Thank you to the Heartwood Ensemble for sharing your music with us, and please come back again soon!
