SCCS EDUCATION FOUNDATION AWARDS $92,000 in SCHOLARSHIPS
This spring, the SCCS Education Foundation presented over $92,000 to students entering SMCC, currently enrolled at SMCC, and graduating seniors. Scholarships are awarded annually and students in grades 8-12 are encouraged to apply next year for the 2019-2020 school year. Congratulations students!

MAIN OFFICE SUMMER HOURS
Beginning Monday, June 4, the SCCS Main Office will be open 8:30am-1:30pm, Monday through Thursday. The Main Office will be closed from July 2 through July 19 and will resume summer hours on Monday, July 23. 

PANTHER VOLLEYBALL CAMP
Panther Junior High Volleyball is hosting a camp from July 9-July 12. Grades 4 and 5 are from 9:00am-10:30am and grades 6-8 are from 11:00am-1:00pm. SCCS/SMCC GIRLS VOLLEYBALL OPEN GYMS
Girls Volleyball Open Gyms will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays beginning Monday, June 4. Girls entering grades 4-8 are from 12:00pm-1:00pm, and girls entering grades 9-12 are from 1:00pm-2:00pm.
  
FATHER JOE FAREWELL CELEBRATION
On Sunday, June 24 there will be a Farewell Celebration for Father Joe at St. Mary's Church Commons from 12:45pm-4:00pm. Please feel free to stop by and give Father your best.
 
MANDATORY SUMMER WEEK OFF FOR ATHLETICS
Just a reminder, the week of July 1-July 7 will be the mandatory week off for all SCCS/SMCC athletic teams.

PANTHER BOYS BASKETBALL CAMP
New SMCC Varsity Boys Basketball Head Coach Chris Ceccoli is hosting a "Fundamentals First! "Boys Basketball Camp on Monday, June 18 through Thursday, June 21. The SMCC coaches and players will work on teamwork and fundamental skills including, defense, ball handling, footwork, passing, shooting, and rebounding. Players entering grades 3 and 4 will attend from 9:00am-10:30am and players entering grades 5 and 6 will attend from 10:30am-12:00pm. The cost is $30, which includes a camp t-shirt. PANTHER FOOTBALL CAMP GRADES K-4
The 2018 Panther Football Camp is being held Monday, June 25 through Thursday, June 28, at Zierolf Field from 3:00pm-4:15pm. The camp is led by the varsity football staff and players, who will teach the basic fundamentals of football. We will emphasize the proper techniques needed to become a successful football player. The fundamentals of offensive and defensive positions will be introduced, along with punting, kicking, and snapping. The players will also be taught drills that they will use during flag football season. The cost of the camp is $30 and includes a t-shirt and photo. Please click here for a registration form. 
 
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
Vacation Bible School will be held Sunday, June 24 through Thursday, June 28 from 6:00pm-8:30pm at Holy Angels Church. The cost is $10. Please contact Holy Angels Church for more information.

MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL SCHOOL NEWS

DIOCESAN YOUTH DAY AT CEDAR POINT
Tuesday, June 19 is Diocesan Youth Day at Cedar Point. It is open to all middle school students and their families. Tickets are $42 and will be sold the day of the event at a window designated for the "Catholic Youth" just to the right of the Main Entrance. Tickets will be sold from 9:00am-12:00pm. Additionally, Beverage Bracelets will be sold for $9. This will allow you to receive FREE refills throughout the day.
