All are invited to tune into a brief Facebook Live event each Wednesday at 5:00 pm. If you have prayer requests that you would like lifted up, you can type them into the comments section of the FB Live event or you can email them to Pastor Jeff at revjmarkay@earthlink.net.
Youth & Kids News
Sunday School welcomes new friends to join our active groups during Lent as we prepare our hearts and lives for the great miracle of Easter. Zoom log-in info for the following online classes will be emailed at the end of each week. If you would like to be added to the distribution group or have questions about which class is right for your children, please email Karen at youthchatumc@optonline.net.

PreK / Early Elementary - Sundays at 9:30am on Zoom. Each Sunday in Lent we are learning about a different event from Holy Week. This week in class we’ll talk about Jesus Entry into Jerusalem and prepare some handprint palms to use in a few weeks. We’ll also work on our prayer sheets, reviewing our prayers of praise and adding a prayer of confession. Click here to hear/see our song: Hear Us As We Pray
We continue to count down the days 'til Easter with our Lenten Calendar Chains. As our chains get longer, so will the days! If you’d like to request a printable Lenten Calendar for your family click here

Submerge (4th-8th grade) - Sundays at 10:30am on Zoom. We continue our deeper dive into Lent and the events of Holy Week to prepare ourselves for the real joy of Easter. This week, Bibles in hand, we’ll explore the story of Jesus in the Wilderness and its themes of temptation and patience. What can we learn from this story here in the 21st century in a fast-paced world full of instant gratification?

High School Discussion - Sundays at 11:45am on Zoom. For the six weeks in Lent we will work with What Wondrous Love which presents key scriptures and events in the story of Holy Week through the art of John August Swanson. This week’s artwork: Entry Into the City, based on the story of Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem. Inspired by the civil rights movement, Swanson combines themes of hope and social justice against a backdrop foreshadowing The Passion to come.
Music News
Members of our Ukulele Orchestra will next meet online at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 27th.

If you are a singer or player with a pop twist: musicians of all kinds are invited to join in our virtual music video of The Beatles’ All You Need Is Love. Singers and players from saxophone, trombone, clarinet, flute (all band and orchestra instruments) to classroom instruments (kazoos, toy pianos, kids’ keyboards, shakers, and maracas!) are invited.
