BC Retired Educators Association Scholarship
Each year, the Barrow County Retired Educators Association (BCREA), through the generosity of businesses and individuals in the Barrow County community, presents a $500 scholarship to a Barrow County School teacher. The scholarships are given to enable the teacher to take courses toward achieving an advanced degree in an educational field, thereby honing teaching skills. The effect of enhanced teaching skills directly impacts student learning.
We are proud to announce that Ms. Abby Norman from Winder Elementary School has been awarded the scholarship this year. Pictured with Abby is Doc Neace, a Barrow County Retired Educator.
