Weekly Update
July 3, 2018
Greetings!

Plenty of days turned out popular last week - especially Wed with the Slow Roll with Move MN (formerly Smart Trips and Transit for Livable Communities) - It looked awesome! This week I imagine everyone's favorite day will be Wednesday. Thinking about what makes for patriotism today, I give you this:
  • Ribbon Cutting for 54 Extension - this is bus service like the East Side needs
  • Increase capacity through connections - how can interns support small businesses? Speak up if you want to be a part of that conversation.
  • Lunch Bunch and Program Committee - If you liked what you saw at Gala, step up on our Programs Committee.
Patriotic Ingredients: Stand Up, Speak Up, Step Up. That's about as core to America as you can get.

54 Extension: We're Getting Somewhere

Ribbon Cutting: Tues July 10,
11am 804 Margaret
Metro Transit has launched extended service for the 54 from downtown to Maplewood Mall. Impact? This now connects the East Side on one bus to the airport. 54 looks like a really good route for the East Side. For ESABA it connects with institutions and businesses along E 7 th , up Arcade, over on Maryland, up White Bear Ave… it is a big deal for commuters, customers, and for the system we need to link together on our side of town Stand Up: Join us to celebrate it!
Thanks to State Farm and Metro State we will be reaching out to ask you about ways interns can help increase your capacity to do business on the East Side.

July 12th 11-1pm, anytime
Show Up: For Lunch Bunch, you've got a a questions, you'd like to see something addressed, you want to see if we can move our work to help out in a particular way... the agenda is all yours. Show-up, talk to your colleagues, see what you can do over lunch. RSVP Here

And then Join the Programs Committee - We meet once a month and pull off regular programming calendar and assist on the three Annual ESABA special events: Pub Crawl is next! Send Paris an Email Now to Learn More.
Join Family Values for Life's Annual Golf Classic "Scramble Style" so everyone benefits from your best shot - and kids on the East Side WIN!
