Tomorrow! 2/4/21 at 12pm PST
The Alliance for Immigrant Survivors is hosting a webinar designed for advocates who wish to learn more about how the new administration’s initial immigration policy developments address this chilling effect and may impact the communities we stand with and represent. We will include discussion about new executive orders and actions as well as pending legislation.

API-GBV is hiring a part time Policy Associate!
We are looking for an experienced candidate to work directly with policymakers, community members, and members of the media – or for less experienced candidates to grow into those additional responsibilities.
Reporting to the Director of Policy, the Policy Associate will assist in developing and implementing our policy priorities and advocacy strategies.

RSVP now for our next Connect Call!
Feb theme: AAPI Teen/Youth Dating Violence
For Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month 2021, join our “Bridges” AAPI Connect Call for a discussion around how relationship abuse and sexual violence impact Asian and Pacific Islander teens, youth, and young adults. This month’s discussion will include a Q&A with advocates who work to engage AAPI teens on topics such as respect, consent, and healthy relationships; while navigating issues like identity and mental health. We invite you to join us if your organization has a teen/youth program that you are able to share about, if you have insight on working with AAPI youth on gender-based violence issues, or if you would like to hear from advocates who have experience doing this work.

COVID-19 has exacerbated the disparities already present in homeless populations, born out of structural racism, historical measures, network impoverishment, etc. The Safe Housing Partnerships Newsletter is a great resource for DV advocates that provides regular updates, resources, and tools at the intersection of DV/SA, homelessness, and housing.
