Pastor Ned's Message
Sunday Message: “Blessed to be a Blessing”    

     Midweek I received a phone call from my sister that started with these words, “Let me tell you the end of the story first, and then I’ll start at the beginning. Mom and dad are safe and they didn’t get hurt.” 
     The story: back in Montana, an electrical fire broke out in the ceiling of my parents’ home. The fire department and paramedics arrived quickly, damage was contained, and they’re now safely in a motel under the supervision of their caregivers.
     Here’s the blessing: the countless people who have called to volunteer their services and help our folks get back on their feet. Plumbers, electricians, cleaners, respite care givers, carpenters…all eager & willing to interrupt their lives in order to care for mom and dad. Each and everyone, a welcome and unexpected blessing.
     This weekend’s theme in our, ‘Blessed,’ preaching series: “Blessed to be a Blessing.”  

Living for Jesus!

Mission:
VBS Supplies

          VBS takes place Sunday July 14th-Wednesday July 17th, with this year's theme being "PowerUp!". Last year we had 100 kids sign up and anticipate the same this year!

       With that many kids we are in need of your help! VBS is looking for help with general supplies and food, click here for the complete list of food and here for the supplies list.
 
       VBS greatly appreciates any donation of the needed supplies. You may sign up at Clipboard Central or simply drop off any of the suggested items at church.

Keep up-to-date with the

JAM kids j oin us this Sunday, June 2 for the Camerama Parade!  
         Please let me know if you or your kiddos would like to join us for this fun day! The parade starts at 11:45am and is pretty short. Drop off would be 11:30am at our lineup location. The more, the merrier!!! 

        Parents do not have to walk with their kiddos. You may drop them off before the parade and then pick them up after. (Once I know our lineup number, I will let everyone know the location. This will be our drop off and pickup spot.).  Hope to see you there!

Summer JAM Sunday's
       Join us this summer on Sundays for Power Up Kid’s Camp: crafts, outdoor activities, VBS themed curriculum, etc. Camp is very laid back and will happen at the regular JAM time. The yellow room is always open for the littles. No registration necessary. Please join us when you can. Happy Summer!

        Register NOW to join us for four fun-filled days; Sunday, July 14 - Wednesday, July 17! Open to children 4 years old through students who have completed 4th grade. Supper provided each night and we end with a Family Fun Night on Wednesday! 
 
Eight Days of Hope
July 21-25
   Interested in joining the LW Mission Trip this summer?  July 21-25 LW is going to Buffalo and participating in, “8 Days of Hope,” a community outreach of cleaning, repairing, and sharing the love of Jesus with a poor neighborhood in Buffalo, NY. 
The cost? Practically nothing. The blessing? Beyond your wildest dreams.

Community Garden - 4 Beds Left!
      Checked out the new LW Community Garden? The beds are completed, the posts set, the chips spread. We’re almost there!! What’s next? Dirt! To be delivered & deposited as soon as the soil is dry enough for loading & spreading. If you’d like one of the remaining 4 beds, please contact Renelle at:

New Church Mower
          Our old mower served us well…until it couldn't! We’re purchasing a new riding mower for our church home and need your help reaching a goal of $6,000 before the end of the this month. Please send contributions to: Living Water Church, P.O.
