Meet Our Members: Mery
Mery encourages other entrepreneurs to build relationships with small financial institutions where Loan Officers get to know customers and work to provide them with a product that best meets their needs.
In 2014, Mery wanted to open a Beauty Salon in Jackson Heights with her mom. After learning about Brooklyn Coop from a friend she joined and applied for a small business loan to help launch the business. Once she paid off the loan and grew her business Mery sought funding for a new venture. In 2019 she came back to Brooklyn Coop and applied for a second loan for her new nail salon in Astoria. The second loan has enabled her to update the salon, furnish it with new chairs and offer trendy products to her customers.
