ARE COMING to RIDGEMONT COUNTRY CLUB!
Women golfers of Rochester - join us on Monday, September 17 for the fifth annual
RDGA Women's Open
- an event for all women who have an active USGA-GHIN Handicap Index and hosted this year by Ridgemont Country Club. The format will consist of 18 holes of stroke play from the Green Tees at approximately 5,300 yards - with multiple flights, so that players will be competing against other players of similar abilities. Winners will be recognized with the best net and gross scores, as well as in individual flights based on Handicap Indexes.
Following play, join us for an awards ceremony and dinner in the Ridgemont clubhouse as we celebrate Women's Golf in Rochester!

- we welcome you to the return of the RDGA Women's Championship, hosted this year by Ridgemont Country Club on Sunday and Monday, September 16 and 17.
Join us for this two-day, 36-hole stroke play championship event, conducted as a gross score competition. First round play will be conducted on Ridgemont's 5,550-yard championship tees, with start times beginning at 1 p.m. from the First Tee and followed by an hors d'ouevres reception in the clubhouse. The second round will begin off the First and 10th tees at 1:15 on Monday and followed by an awards ceremony and dinner inside the Ridgemont clubhouse.

QUALIFIERS SEND 72 PLAYERS
TO MONROE GOLF CLUB
for NEXT MONTH'S
RDGA DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP

A combined total of 135 golfers, competing in two separate District Championship Qualifiers, began the "Road to Monroe" last month, each with dreams of reaching the 2018 RDGA District Championship John H. Ryan Jr. Memorial.
The 72 players who advanced through each of the two qualifiers will join those players exempt from qualifying to fill the starting field of approximately 120 in the 88th RDGA District Championship, which will be held at Monroe Golf Club on July 25-28.

JUNIOR GOLFERS - IT'S TIME TO SIGN UP
FOR THE 2018 RDGA JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS!
ONTARIO GOLF CLUB SET TO HOST JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS
FROM JULY 31 THROUGH AUGUST 2
ATTENTION JUNIOR GOLFERS
(and parents): The 2018 RDGA Junior Championships at Ontario Country Club are coming up in less than a month, so now is the time to sign up - don't miss YOUR chance to play in the premier local junior championship this year!
The RDGA Junior Championships are open to ALL juniors - boys and girls - ages 7 through 18. Separate Champions are crowned for both boys and girls in three age groups: Juniors (ages 15 to 18), Sub Juniors (ages 12 to 14) and Pee Wees (ages 7 to 11). There are two ways in which to enter this year's Junior Championships:

Boys between the ages of 12 and 18
must first enter the RDGA Boys Sub-Junior and Junior Championship Qualifiers. Any Sub-Junior- or Junior-age boy golfer hoping to play in the District Junior Championships must first play in the Qualifier at Silver Lake Country Club, scheduled for Monday, July 16. Those players who successfully qualify at Silver Lake will be automatically entered into the RDGA Junior Championships at Ontario. Deadline to enter is Monday, July 9.

REMINDER: THE APPLICATION DEADLINE
for the 2018 U.S. SENIOR AMATEUR
SECTIONAL QUALIFIER is JULY 11
Ever wonder what it would be like to play in a national championship? Men ages 55 and above - you still have time to enter the U.S. Senior Amateur Sectional Qualifier at Midvale Country Club on August 2. Finish at or near the top of the 18-hole leaderboard and YOU can be on your way to the 2018 U.S. Senior Amateur Championship being hosted this year by Eugene Country Club in Eugene, Oregon on August 25 through 30. The deadline to submit your online application to enter the U.S. Senior Amateur Sectional Qualifier is July 11.

WRDGA WOMEN'S INVITATIONAL
WOMEN GOLFERS of the Rochester District Golf Association - you are invited to enter the Inaugural WRDGA Women's Invitational - scheduled for Monday, August 27 at
CenterPointe Golf Club!
The event is an 18-hole stroke play event with a shotgun start at 9:00 am. The entry fee for RDGA members is $60, which includes golf, cart, driving range, continental breakfast, lunch, and prizes.
