Maccabi Games: Important Information

Tomorrow, Friday, May 31 Heilicher will provide a free outdoor lunch buffet for students, faculty, and volunteers catered by Chef Liz and Dave, including bagels and cream cheese, pesto pasta, cucumber salad, watermelon, and popsicles. If you would prefer to send a dairy/parve bag lunch from home, please feel free to do so.

From 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m., we'll be outside for most of the day. It looks like it will be a hot day. We will have plenty of cold water but are not providing cups. Remember to bring: Water bottles, sunscreen, and wear a shirt in your team's color. If you still want to volunteer, contact Wendy Goldberg. There will be some games in the shade of the tent, but everyone will be outside a lot, so plan accordingly.
Second-Grade Kabbalat HaSiddur

Tonight, Thursday, May 30, at 6:30-7:30 p.m., second-grade students will participate in Kabbalat HaSiddur. This is a special evening where students will share what they have learned and receive their new school siddur. The event will start in students' classrooms and will continue in the Ben and Bernice Fiterman Family Beit  Knesset.

2019 Annual Fund: Thank you, Heilicher families!

Annual giving at any level supports your child(ren)'s Jewish education, inquiry-based academic programming, and financial accessibility for our growing K-8 day school.

Heilicher families have come together this year to fill over 250 volunteer positions, and 89% of parents have made philanthropic gifts to Heilicher. Your engagement as volunteers and donors makes a difference.

Road Closure Now in Effect

Cedar Lake Road under Highway 100 is now closed from Quentin Avenue S heading west. This closure is expected to last 15 days. Travel in the area will be affected by backups and delays, especially at school arrival and dismissal.

Pro Tips:
Consider a carpool. Leave extra time for drop off and pick up. (You can use an app like Google Maps to estimate your travel time.) As you plan your route, please obey all speed limits and drive carefully. We would like to continue to be good neighbors during the construction disruption.

Please refer to this guide for detour details.
