Grab your favorite beverage from the beverage garden and enjoy the scene. What: The Burlington RAGBRAI Housing committee is looking for local residents interested in hosting RAGBRAI riders in their home for the evening of Friday, July 26. Hosts are only expected to provide a place for riders to rest their heads for the night. This space can either be provided inside or outside. Local housing hosts are not required to entertain guests or provide them with amenities. Hosts are not required to transport or feed the riders.

First Crapo Park Concert of the Burlington Municipal Band

The Burlington Municipal Band will begin its summer concert series with a "Musical Kaleidoscope" concert conducted by BHS band director Derrick Murphy. The concert will continue the band's "educational outreach" initiative and feature twelve talented middle school students from area middle schools performing with the band on two selections. The featured piccolo soloist will be Rose Bishop, principal flutist with the Southeast Iowa Symphony.
