The market is in the 300 - 500 blocks on Thursday from 4:30 - 7 PM with fresh produce, baked goods, food vendors, crafts, free horse drawn trolley rides, music by Jared Rouggly, and more. The Jefferson St. Farmers Market is organized by Downtown Partners, Inc. and supported by Two Rivers Bank & Trust.
Downtown Partners begins the 5 & V Outdoor Cinema season with Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation on June 8 at the corner of 5th and Valley. The movie, sponsored by Elks Lodge #84, will start at dusk, but be sure to arrive early for games and prizes. Snacks and drinks will be available. Bring a lawn chair and join us in downtown Burlington for a night out!

The Gus Macker 3-on-3 basketball tournament is coming back to the Burlington Riverfront August 3 - 4, 2019! Burlington RAGBRAI
What:  The Food and Vendor Committee is now accepting applications for all vendors, including all for profits,  nonprofits and churches. The application is available at BurlingtonRagbrai.com All for profit and nonprofit vendors participating in RAGBRAI f estivities, setting up along the route, serving a meal, vending at  the party location or adding additional services to daily business  must fill out a Food and Vendor application.

What:  Burlington is all about having a good time, and we're pulling out all the stops for Burlington RAGBRAI! Join us on the riverfront for a day and night filled with entertainment. Grab your favorite beverage from the beverage garden and enjoy the scene. Live music kicks off with Eric Pettit Lion at 2:30 PM followed by Jera & the Absolutes at 3:30 PM; Stumptown at 5 PM; Headliner - The Spazmatics at 7 PM; Catfight at 10:30 PM. There is no admission to get into the party and is open to everyone.

What: The Burlington RAGBRAI Housing committee is looking for local residents interested in hosting RAGBRAI riders in their home for the evening of Friday, July 26. Hosts are only expected to provide a place for riders to rest their heads for the night. This space can either be provided inside or outside. Local housing hosts are not required to entertain guests or provide them with amenities. Hosts are not required to transport or feed the riders.

What:  The Burlington Municipal Band will begin its summer concert series with a "Musical Kaleidoscope" concert conducted by BHS band director Derrick Murphy. The concert will continue the band's "educational outreach" initiative and feature twelve talented middle school students from area middle schools performing with the band on two selections. The featured piccolo soloist will be Rose Bishop, principal flutist with the Southeast Iowa Symphony.
