Blink Fitness Expands to Westchase District

Don't blink or you'll miss the grand opening specials being offered by Blink Fitness, which will be opening in Westchase District in late December. The gym is located at 11145 Westheimer (at Wilcrest) in the Market at Westchase Shopping Center. Manager Charles McKenna says that while Blink Fitness may be new to Houston, the first Blink Fitness opened in New York City in 2011. Today, there are nearly 100 Blink Fitness locations across the country, and the Westchase gym will be one of four opening in Houston. "We offer a high quality fitness center at a price that is affordable," said McKenna.
"We put mood above muscle," McKenna adds. "We want you to feel good when you leave our gym and we have equipment for any kind of training."
When it opens, the 13,500-square-foot fitness center will have cardio and strength equipment, state-of-the-art Precor equipment, stretch areas, and designated areas for high-intensity interval training (HITT), body weight circuit training and more. Fully-equipped locker rooms with showers will make it easy to clean-up before heading to the office. Each new member receives an introductory personal training session.
Memberships range from $15/month (one location, no commitment) to $18/month (access to 90+ locations includes annual commitment, guest privileges and access to the Blink Fitness app which delivers daily fitness and wellness content.) These pre-opening prices can be locked in with a $1 start-up fee.
The membership office is located at 11167 Westheimer (next to the Houston Cat Hospital). Membership office hours are 9 am to 8 pm weekdays and 9 am to 5 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
