Attention Classes of 2020 and 2021
|
National Honor Society Invitations will be sent out when we return in the fall. You will be invited to apply if your GPA is 3.5 or higher at the end of this school year. If you choose to complete the application, it will be reviewed by a faculty committee. Delone Catholic follows the guidelines outlined in the National Honor Society Constitution and the National Honor Society Handbook. Scholarship, leadership, service and character each count for 25 percent of the membership decision-no one characteristic is more important than any other. You will have opportunities to describe your leadership and character on the application. Outstanding service will be defined as having completed at least one and a half times the minimum amount of works of mercy required for graduation and having participated in some sort of community service, organized outside of school. Be sure to hand in your works of mercy forms for any work you have already done, and to turn in summer hours as early as possible.

SportsLeader Virtue of the Week
|
One pillar of the SportsLeader program is a weekly virtue that we incorporate into our athletic practices and throughout our school community. Every week, we will share them here to encourage the students to take the virtue into their homes as well!
This week we look at the virtue of TENACITY - The strength to grip on to a goal and refuse to give up. TENACITY is an awesome strength to have on a team. It's a joy to be around TENACIOUS leaders.
