The Planning Director has issued a report concerning Open Space in Subdivisions and Limiting Impervious Surfaces. The Council has an agenda item requesting the Planning Commission to work with a representative of the development community and neighborhood associations to establish standards for open space. A copy of the report is attached. Frank Duke has requested that the Growth Coalition participate in a review of this issue. This is an important issue that will require review and comments by our members. We would request that you review and give me any comments concerning this important potential change in the Unified Development Code.
