Thank you, HCA Dance Team
and Whole Kids Worcester Volunteers
|
|
Congratulations to the HCA Dance Team who pulled a "double duty" on Saturday, May 11th to represent our God and our school. They danced at Pleasant St SDA church in Worcester and then at the Whole Kids Worcester event on Worcester Common. Thank you to the volunteers who came to Whole Kids Worcester to make our presence there a success. We appreciate you!

Here is an excerpt from the newsletter of our newest partner, Redemptive Education Association of Christian Schools (REACH). Amy Imbody visited us on May 7th to 9th:
- Next week, we will be working with another Founding Member School: Holden Christian Academy (HCA), home of their excellent gardening/fitness/nutrition curriculum Food for Life, which we will be publishing in the near future. Do you want to see this program in action? Then register for the “Blessing the Body” Conference hosted by HCA this coming October 3rd, 4th on their campus near Boston, MA. Registration is open for the Early Bird Rate of $399 through the end of May – group rates available!
- And of course, we will all want to learn from Nancy Pearcey, keynote speaker at the conference as she gives us much-needed guidance about the current issues regarding God’s design – Schools all over the country are capitulating to a terribly confused departure from “In His own image He created them; Male and female He created them. . .” (Genesis 1:27) In her most recent book, Love Thy Body, Nancy helps equip believers to understand these cultural catastrophes while engaging lovingly with our neighbor, including those in our classrooms!
Below is the poster of the conference we are hosting. Please post in your churches and forward to anyone interested. There is a special discounted rate for college students, which may also be used by Holden Christian Academy families; just choose the student rate.
