Coming Soon: New Communication Tool
We are excited to announce that this summer we will be piloting a new communications platform for potential implementation next year.
This platform, called "Aeries Communications," will allow parents/guardians to:
- Choose how they want to receive communications from teachers, schools, and AUSD (e.g., email, text, and/or phone call);
- Choose in which language they want to receive communications; and
- Access attendance reports, grades, and homework all in one place.
Aeries Communications will also let teachers, administrators, parent/guardians, and students engage in one- and two-way communications either individually or in groups.
Because the system is part of Aeries, everyone will be able to use their existing Aeries login information to access the new tool. And because Aeries offers a mobile app, you can access all of this right from your smart phone!
This summer we'll be experimenting with the program at Paden Elementary School and Wood Middle School. By August we hope to be ready to roll it out to all our sites. We promise we'll have lots more information about this (including easy-to-follow instructions on how to get set up). Please stay tuned for more information!
