Hi everyone,
It’s been another busy few months here at our chamber — we represented at Pride events, welcomed new team members and founding small business partners, forged relationships in Western Massachusetts, sat as panelist at Out in Tech Boston, met with Secretary of Labor and Workforce Development Rosalin Acosta, and had meaningful discussions with supplier diversity agencies.
We’re energized by the excitement and momentum that is building around our chamber, and we look forward to what’s coming next.
PUBLIC LAUNCH: SEPTEMBER 24
Beginning at 12PM, we're delivering a program exclusively for our founding partners (corporate founding sponsors and founding small business members), elected officials, and VIP guests. To attend this session simply join our chamber as a founding partner
via our website or by calling 857.529.8010.
At 2:30PM, we open our keynote program to all LGBT-owned businesses, community members, allies, and supporters. This program will be followed by corporate/small business match-making, concluding at 5:30PM.
Please mark your calendar to join us on September 24. Registration details coming soon!
NEW CORPORATE FOUNDING SPONSORS
Two new corporate founding sponsors have joined our chamber —
Vertex and
MassMutual — and we couldn’t be happier to welcome them as supporters. These companies join our pioneering first 10 founding sponsors in standing up for LGBT-owned and allied businesses in our state and investing in our community’s economic growth.
MassMutual marks our first founding partner from Western Massachusetts and will no doubt become a catalyst for other business in that region to follow suit. We look forward to supporting LGBT-owned and allied businesses and professionals across the entire Commonwealth.
OPERATIONS MANAGER
Our chamber welcomes Kimberly Simonsen to the role of operations manager. Kimberly is a seasoned project manager with over 20 years’ experience solving problems for clients in a variety of situations — from property management and gardening advice to website consultation and carpentry. A self-confessed “doer,” Kimberly is the right person to take the chamber through public launch and beyond, and we’re thrilled that she is part of our team.
STAY CONNECTED!
I’m truly excited about the chamber of commerce we are building together!
Proudly,
Grace R. Moreno
