Trident United Launches New Campaign
This year's campaign seeks to connect the everyday kindness and generosity we offer to family, friends and neighbors to the needs of the broader community. Many people think nothing of picking up the cost of a friend's coffee or mowing a neighbors' lawn. We want to inspire that kind of generosity to extend to people we don't know by name and the larger issues that impact us all across the Tri-County community in the areas of education, financial stability and health. 

Trident United Way created four short videos this year. We'll be rolling out the videos on social media over the next several weeks so keep an eye out on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn!

Trident United Way would also like to welcome in 27 internal volunteers who are assuming new roles on various boards and councils. This is a portion of the group that attended orientation on July 16 at TUW.

Brad Davis is no stranger to Trident United Way. Whether launching workplace campaigns at area Rick Hendrick stores, serving as an ambassador for campaign cabinet or helping strategize TUW's investments in the community, Davis has been heavily involved with the organization for nearly 20 years. Healthy Tri-County hosted its fourth Conversation on Race & Health Equity at Palmetto Goodwill on Thursday, July 26. The topic was The Pursuit of Equity in Women's Health and featured speakers Brandi Ellison of Women's Rights Empowerment Network and Dr. Ebony Jade Hilton Buchholz of MUSC. More than 50 people from a variety of backgrounds including healthcare, housing, transportation and nonprofits were in attendance.
