Another benefit:  The Chamber also posts electronically ads for special "deals" you or your business are offering. These Member-to-Member ads are issued regularly, and your ad will be included for as long as the "deal" is in effect.  Again, all you have to do is send information or a flyer about your ad to us.  We want to help you promote your business and its work!

Habersham Toastmasters invites community members to its open house for an opportunity to meet members and learn about Toastmasters. Guest speaker, Marilyn Delgado of joint member of Gainesville and Habersham Toastmasters, will introduce the Habersham Toastmasters Club to the community. In addition, special guest speaker Kisha Williams, Area Director, H81-District 44, will be welcoming Habersham Toastmasters as a chartered club.

"Habersham Toastmasters provides a supportive and positive environment where members have the opportunity to develop their communication and leadership skills," says James Carson, Club President for Habersham Toastmasters.  After hearing from Marilyn Delgado and Kisha Williams, members and guests will enjoy light snacks and conversation.

MORE INFORMATION:
Please note the following road closures for the weekend of September 21 and 22 in Downtown Cornelia:
  • Clarkesville Street from Stovall to North Main will close Friday at 6 p.m.
  • Small public parking lot on North Main Street will close Friday at 6 p.m.
  • Appletree Alley parking lot area will be close Friday night at midnight. All cars left in parking lot after midnight will be towed at owner's expense
  • Clarkesville Street from MLK to North Main will close Saturday at 7 a.m. Only cars entering car show and vendors will be permitted.
  • Irvin Street from North Main to Wells Street will close Saturday at 7 a.m. It will reopen at 4 p.m.
