Jack in the Box Foundation

We are deeply grateful to the Jack in the Box Foundation for their $11,500 donation to Pegasus Rising in honor of their late former executive, Dr. David Theno. Pegasus Rising was one of their charitable beneficiaries at their golf tournament which was held on April 18-19, 2018. This significant donation has made a huge difference for our all volunteer non profit and we are proud to be recognized in memory of Dr. David Theno.

Pegasus Rising is proud to announce that we have been selected again as a beneficiary of the 12th annual  Holes for Heroes golf tournament to be held on Friday September 14th at the Lomas Santa Fe Country Club.

This is a 100% non-profit and all volunteer event which has raised over $1.2 million to date and 100% of the net profits goes to its beneficiaries. Please help support this wonderful event by clicking here  and participating in this event.

President's Message

Nine years have now passed by since I came on board on June 1, 2009 to run this wonderful project.  We are presently serving active duty service members from both Camp Pendleton's Wounded Warrior Battalion-West and Naval Medical Point Loma's Overcoming Adversity & Stress Injury Support ("OASIS") as well as veterans of all eras from the Veterans Village of San Diego (who we have been serving since the fall of 2009). While we are very proud to be able to continue to serve so many while remaining an all volunteer project, we need to take the next step and obtain adequate funding so that we can provide vocational opportunities for our country's veterans as they transition into their civilian lives.

Please do everything you can to spread the word about our upcoming September Holes for Heroes Golf Tournament and our Veterans Recycling Program as we need to grow so that we can provide veterans with vocational opportunities. We are marching towards our goal of hiring veterans so that Pegasus Rising is run by veterans for veterans and we cannot do it without your financial support!

Please find it in your hearts to donate today to our worthy cause so that we can help our special herd "pay it forward" and aid our returning U.S. service members in healing and reintegrating into their civilian lives.

With gratitude,
Gary Adler
