Student safety remains a top priority for us. Help us keep our students safe by following a few easy parking lot rules:
1.) Please drive slowly when dropping off or picking up your child.
2.) Refrain from using your cell phone during drop off and pick up.
3.) Pull all the way forward even if there is no one behind you.
4.) Do not get out of your vehicle.
5.) Park in designated areas only.
Thank you in advance for following these rules.

Technology Survey
Our school and district are partnering with BrightBytes, an educational data analytics company, in order to learn more about our students’ school and home technology use for learning. We are reaching out to ask you to take part in our Clarity Parent questionnaire.

Your participation is essential in helping us form a more complete picture of technology use for learning in our students’ lives. Please know that all of your responses will remain anonymous to protect your privacy and they will help your child's school choose the right technology for their classrooms. It will take
approximately 5 minutes to complete.

Please go to www.BByt.es/CA34P to take the survey. The survey will close on Friday, September 22, 2018.
Go Gold!
Did you know September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month? Every month approximately 45 children are diagnosed with cancer. Click here to learn more about what one local organization is doing to search for a cure. Help us to support the foundation by purchasing baked goods at our Jog-A-Thon.
A Message from the Principal
Hard to believe we have been in school for almost a month already! We have been going full steam ahead since day one. We are working on building relationships through Morning Meetings and our houses. Mystery Science is engaging students in hands-on science. Flexible seating in several classes allows students to learn in a setting that best suits them. Music and band are inspiring students through rhythm and harmony. Student leadership is taking center stage with newly elected Student Council officers. These are just a few of the things we have going on that make Shell Beach Elementary School the jawsome place it is! --Dr. Cervantez, NBCT
