Director's Corner with   K.C. Cloke

We hear it and see it all over the internet, "Networking is the number one unwritten rule of success in business". The Lake Area Chamber of Commerce takes great pride in offering a variety of networking opportunities for our chamber and community members throughout the year. I would like to hone in on one particular event that will offer a unique and engaging networking opportunity for all attendees - our Annual Fall Dinner! This year's event is set to take place on October 17th, 2019. If you have not made your reservation yet, please be sure to register before the deadline of October 9th. Participants will enjoy exceptional networking during the Dinner portion of the event as they make their way visiting the various delightful Culinary Action Stations featuring cuisines from "Around the World".
Ensuring you are receiving the utmost value on your membership investment with the Lake Area Chamber is extremely important to us. During this year's Fall Dinner we will not only be recognizing our incoming Board of Directors and awarding the 5 prestigious Business Awards; we will also share what our Chamber has been hard at work at through the past year. This portion of the evening will showcase our Chamber events, our involvement with other community organizations and efforts, and also highlight many of the programs and benefits included with your membership. Whether you are a newer member or a seasoned member, I can assure you will walk away from this evening learning something new.
We hope you will consider traveling "Around the World" with us on the 17th!

To our continued success,
K.C. Cloke

Lake Area Chamber Welcomes New Administrative Assistant Paige Jones.

I have enjoyed working in the hospitality industry for over 22 years. Prior to embarking on the hospitality industry, I exercised my creative abilities as a certified floral designer for over 10 years, always striving to make others happy or at minimum to feel better. The hospitality industry provided me with an extraordinary opportunity to work in many places across the United States including many years right here at the Lake of the Ozarks. I truly enjoy meeting new people, learning something new, serving others and sincerely listening to those individuals who have a story to tell. I began visiting the Lake as a child in the late 1970's when my grandmother retired and moved here from Jefferson City, Missouri. Most of my family still resides around the Jefferson City area including Eldon, California, Loose Creek and Meta. My husband, Jasen Jones, along with our girls, Zoe and Tallulah, have made the Lake our home. We feel we live in the best place in the U.S. I have watched this beautiful area grow from a one stoplight town to what we enjoy today. I feel blessed to have the opportunity to join the Lake Area Chamber of Commerce and Willmore Lodge allowing me to share my love for the Lake of the Ozarks, not only with our members, but also with the many guests whom visit from all over the world!

Please help us give a warm welcome to our newest team member Paige!
