PRELIMINARY CONFERENCE TIDBITS

It's not too early to begin planning for the 2019 conference. Here is some information to get you started.

  • Be sure you have these dates on your calendar! You will need to arrive on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 to be ready to begin the conference on Wednesday morning at breakfast.
  • The conference schedule will be a little different in 2019 but will contain the same elements. Our family day will be on Saturday, ending with our fun banquet. A tentative conference will be posted on the website soon.
  • The hotel will begin receiving reservations in early January 2019. A link will be posted on the CSFN website to book directly with them so you will receive the reduced rates. Please do not contact the hotel prior to the time the link is posted.
  • CSFN is planning two fundraising projects, one in October and one in November. More to come soon!
  • The Saturday night banquet will have a sports theme, so be thinking about a sports t-shirt or jersey or maybe a cheerleader outfit, any team, any sport.
  • As soon as rates for registration, Camp RAS and the CS Lounge are set, a Conference Calculation Sheet will be available to help you plan and save for the conference.

Conference Fundraising

Team Costello has a great start for fundraising for the 2019 conference but we have a ways to go! As you can see from our fundraising thermometer, we still need to raise almost $45,000.

In October 2018, CSFN asks you to join in a community Dining for Dollars campaign. We will provide you with all the info you need to set up your fundraiser at a local restaurant anytime during the month of October. Once you coordinate it with a restaurant, all you have to do is get the word out to your friends and family, and have them pass it on to their friends and family. Easy peasy!
