Practice using scissors and glue, and listening to school-themed stories in a group setting. Limited to the first 25 children to ask for a nametag. For ages 4-5.

Engage your senses with a variety of sensory art projects and sensory play at this inclusive play group for children who receive therapy. For birth through 5 years.

The library made it easy to browse through a piece of your school's history.  Glenbard West Yearbooks from the 40's through 00's and Glenbard South Yearbooks from the 70s through the 00s are available for online via the library's website. Simply click on the yearbook you want to explore.

GEPL Reads for SCARCE
Through September 2
With just under a month left to go, here's the current standings:
  • Adults are 65% of the way to their 4,000 book goal.
  • Kids are 53% of the way to their 70,000 hour goal.
Keep logging your books and hours read and help make a difference in your community! 

SCARCE is an award-winning nonprofit that provides environmental education through hands-on programs to schools, organizations, and the community. If the community reaches the goals, the Friends of the Library and the Library Foundation will each donate funds to SCARCE. So, if you haven't done so already, sign up and participate in GEPL Reads for SCARCE.

BABY AND TODDLER CLOTHING DONATIONS

The Youth Information Desk will accept donations of gently used baby and toddler clothing (sizes 0-4T) through Saturday, August 11. Shop for free, new-to-you clothing during the library's clothing swap on August 18. Remaining donations will be shared with our neighbors in need.
