My favorite part was selecting a cake from the winner's table: all flavors and sizes; some decorated and others plain. My choice! So naturally, when my daughter was school-aged, I volunteered to

THANK YOU! UPDATE FROM HERITAGE PC
Heritage Presbyterian would again like to thank the Presbytery for inviting us to lead worship at the May Presbytery meeting. It is with great joy that we share our love of music and worship and call to mission with others.
Together at the four Shelter worship services, we raised almost $5,000 for Ezekiel Community Development Corporation (you can read more about them

)! These funds were then matched by a generous donor.
Together
, we purchased 10 starter kits and 6 apprentice kits to help equip workers with training and working towards apprenticeship.
Together
, we purchased much needed "Job Tools" that will be shared and kept by . Such items were a generator, cordless drills, drill bits, cordless saws, table saw, and saw blades.
After taking a break for the summer, the Shelter Service will be back on the road this fall. If you are interested in having us lead worship at your congregation, please contact Michelle Henrichs (
mahenrichs@gmail.com). Possible dates are: 9/30, 10/21, 10/28, 11/11, and 11/18. Thank you!
