UPCOMING PROGRAM

This week we welcome Eric Becher, Executive Director of Friday Musicale!

Located in Historic Downtown Jacksonville, Friday Musicale hosts outstanding concerts free of charge to the citizens of Jacksonville.

Mr. Becher will be speaking to us of the upcoming 130th Season of the oldest musical organization in the State of Florida!

PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Last week we welcomed Richard Cartlidge of Sanctuary on 8th Street. Mr. Cartlidge spoke to us of how this excellent organization started in 1992 with just 20-30 students and has grown to over 100. Their after-school program and summer day camp focuses on promoting positive behavior by providing the students with a place of welcome and safety.

Please note that our Past President's Day has been rescheduled for October 23rd! We look forward to seeing you there!

SEPTEMBER GOLF OUTING

J oin us for our September golf outing at Cimarrone Golf Club!

Players of all abilities will enjoy Cimarrone's par 72, 6891 yard championship layout. Designed by renowned architect, David Postlethwait, Cimarrone's manicured course conditions and challenging design provides a fun, player-friendly experience for golfers of all abilities. Beginners will enjoy Cimarrone's well-defined fairways and magnificent greens. Advanced players will appreciate numerous risk-reward opportunities provided by strategically placed bunkers and a water or marsh feature on every hole.

You may reserve your tee time by contacting the SBMC Golf Chair Matt Vallez at golf@sbmcjax.com. If you are registering for a foursome, please include the names of all your members.

Blind Draw

$5 blind draw and we play from the white tees modified best ball, 1st shot is a community ball on 3 & 4 par holes, 1st & 2nd are community ball on all 5 par holes.

Looking forward to meeting you in person at the bar to collect your $5 for the blind draw.
