Graduate Seminar on Internationalizing Higher Education |
This graduate seminar, "ESHESA 7570 Internationalizing Colleges and Universities" introduces students to scholarly and practitioner perspectives on internationalization and globalization of American colleges and universities. The course explores the purposes and impacts of internationalization, examines institutional strategies of internationalization such as study abroad, foreign student enrollment, international collaboration in research, branch campuses and gateways, etc. and discusses the critiques of these practices. The course emphasizes discussion and exchange of ideas based on the readings, media news and guest speaker presentations. The course is offered on Mondays, from 9:35 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. by instructor, Tatiana Suspitsyna, PhD. |
