Week of Welcome!
#FlatLibrarian

On August, 20th, 2018 at 1:30, the Marx Library hosted an Instagram photo booth stocked with fun props and flat librarians--fans with the liaison librarians' head shots. Students located their librarian liaison on a poster and snapped a pic with that librarian.

Mitchell College of Business
New Resource at the Mitchell College of Business Library

The MCOB Business Library has added the latest edition of the  Small Business Sourcebook  by Gale to their collection. This six volume reference set is a great resource for anyone thinking about starting their own small business. For each small business concept covered, it provides listings for sources of information specific to that type of business.
Most profiles include sources on start-up information, associations/organizations, statistical sources, supplier directories, trade shows and conventions, franchise opportunities, and major trade publications. It covers 340 different types of small businesses and 99 general business topics. The general topics provide sources of information on business processes such as site selection, public relations, and financial management.  Finally, it provides listings for state and federal agencies that provide assistance to small businesses.  This set can be found in the MCOB Business Library, Reference HD 2346 .U5 S65 2018.
