This week, crews will need to temporarily shut down water service on Oakland Road near O Avenue NE, as they work on the new water main. Please be on the lookout for door tags, which help provide a more specific timeframe on when this will occur.

You will also notice lane reductions between J Avenue and 29th Street, which will enable crews to mill the surface of the existing road to prepare for new asphalt.

In the next few weeks, crews will also perform work between 29th St and 32nd St NE.  This work will include water main, manhole replacements, and storm sewer.  As water main work occurs in the next few weeks, please be mindful of temporary service interruptions.
