We all have seen angels or the effects of them in our lives. The scripture tells us we could be showing hospitality to angels without realizing it.    They could look like a person to whom we are doing an act of kindness!    "Do not forget or neglect or refuse to extend hospitality to strangers [in the brotherhood-being friendly, cordial, and gracious, sharing the comforts of your home and doing your part generously], for through it some have entertained angels without knowing it." (Hebrews 13:2 amp)

 

I have seen angels many times in my life.    Sometimes it has been open-eyed and as clearly as if you were standing next to me.    Other times it has been with my spiritual eyes where I could see them through impressions.    I have seen angels of different sizes but recently I saw two white glowing ones about three-foot-high floating along the road.    It did not frighten me but intrigued me to watch them further.   

 

Angels are messengers, so I have learned to look and see why they are sent.    In this case, I was in the parking lot of an apartment complex at night.    It was dark, so this white glow was amazing to watch!    Suddenly, I realized that I was looking at two white dogs on a leash that a lady was walking!    She was holding a flashlight on them to see where they were going causing their white fur to glow!     I had to giggle at myself!   

 

This experience also showed me how much I have walked in the spirit so as to be used to seeing the supernatural and even expected it!   

 

We are living in a time of supernatural encounters.    We will be seeing more and more angels, but keep in mind angels should always point us to the Lord and never be worshiped.    They have assignments with which to assist us.

 

In Genesis 28:12 Jacob saw angels ascending and descending on a "sul-lam" (Hebrew for  " ladder or staircase") between Earth and Heaven.    Notice they start here and go up to get whatever we need and then bring it back down to us!    The root word in Hebrew for this ladder or staircase is "sa-lal" which can be translated "to cast up a highway" or "to lift up a song".    Could it be we set the path for the angels to minister to us with our praises and expectations?  

 

Recently, I read Isaiah 48:13 which is an amazing verse backing up this concept.    (God speaking) "Yes, My hand has laid the foundation of the earth, and My right hand has spread out the heavens; when I call to them, they stand forth together [to execute My decrees]."   When God calls to Earth and to Heaven they stand up together to bring forth His Word!  "Stand up together" can also be translated "appoint, confirm, establish, repair"! Angels harken to the voice of God, "Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, you His angels, you mighty ones who do His commandments, hearkening to the voice of His word." (Ps 103:20)  As we align with Heaven and God's Word I believe angels will execute His will through us!  Now that's amazing!

 

And sometimes He may even use a couple of white dogs to get our attention!
