Happy Summertime!
Today! Tonight! Huntingdon Art Walk. The event happens every third Thursday 5p-8p with venues participating with a different artsy activity each month of the year.

The August 16th Art Walk includes:
  • Juniata College L.A. Beeghly Library: staff members of the L.A. Beeghly Library - Juniata College and Huntingdon County Library will face off to see which library is the best in the borough. From 5 to 6 pm the two teams will compete in a series of to be announced library themed challenges. From 6 to 8 pm the public will be welcome to try the games individually or as part of a team.
  • Juniata College Museum of Art
  • Standing Stone Coffee Co.: RK and Autumn's Music Box plays 50's, 60's,70's music plus Elvis selections. We will also be featuring our "Elvis" drink at the shop that night.
  • Juniata College Ceramics Studio at Sill Business Incubator: Outdoor Artists Market
  • Huntingdon Event Center at Midtown Gateway Commons: back to school themed crafts
  • Huntingdon County Arts Council: Envelope Art, make a collage with used privacy envelopes. (Privacy envelopes are the ones with colored designs inside so people can't see what's in the envelope.)
  • A.C. Darby Studio: "art therapy" - mandala drawing, tree drawing, chalk drawing, a peaceful conversation table, and blank sheets of paper and envelopes to write letters to loved ones.
  • Gage Mansion B&B: Aaron Thompson performs a selection of pop and Broadway favorites at Gage Mansion 317 Penn St, Huntingdon
  • Don't forget to search for the official Art Walk Huntingdon mascot, Artie Walker. If you find him at one of the participating businesses, take a selfie with him and post it publicly on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter using the hashtags #IFoundArtie and #ArtWalkHdon for a chance to win a prize from Artie's Prize Basket.
