Day 53: Watch out! DETOUR!

Now, you might ask, if we were just visiting Kitras Art Glass in Ontario, Canada, why would there be rhinos in our path? Good question. And I don't really have a good answer. But, there they were, so we hastily backed away and took an alternate route. We had already spotted the sign - NEW Summer Fashions - so we knew we had to get back to Kansas City!

Safe and sound back in Kansas City, there are plenty of new exciting fashion arrivals to explore in our store.

Summer dresses so lightweight and airy they just skim your body? Yes, that's reason enough to detour! Customers have been asking when these summer favorites, playfully called umbrella dresses, were going to arrive. And here they are just in time for a summer of fun.

Dresses in 2 different lengths and tons of colors and patterns that are joined by a super-cute harem jumpsuit (middle picture). Click on the picture above to see all the styles and colors. Choose your favorites and get ready for easy summer styling.

One of our favorite fabrics for summer is the lightweight basket-weave cotton from Toofan. With a textured, 100% cotton weave, these tops look and feel great even in our hot summer months.

It's another Detour Friday as we look at some of the new summer fashions that we just unpacked. Those featured in this newsletter are just a few of the new arrivals. We've also received cotton kurta tunics in fun prints from India and new lightweight print tunics in gentle crinkle fabrics from Shana. The Shana tops will look great no matter how not-so-gently you pack them into your travel bag. We've been traveling now for weeks. Isn't it time for some new travel fashions? (Yes, even if you're only traveling on a walk around your neighborhood!)
