Mission: to Amplify Compassion by amplifying marginalized voices in our community, including those marginalized by their race, gender, nationality, sexual orientation, or any others searching for equity. We will help challenge our congregation to amplify justice, mercy, and humility to create a more compassionate church.

Reflection – by Ann Murrell

This is what the Lord placed in my heart as I journaled in response to a simple "Happy Black History Month" emoji that someone sent me.

Once again, the nation brings awareness to Black history! One month to reflect upon generations of an entire group of people with repetitive setups, setbacks, regression, progression, and GET BACK UP again moments! All squeezed into ONE MONTH! The best honor to Black history is to share THE TRUTH – the good, the bad, and the ugly of Black History and to make sure the whole story is included in every American History textbook. Squeezing any history into one month is only an OUNCE of the truth and not the WHOLE truth! May we ALL continue to STILL RISE until the day Our Blessed Savior returns.
