We want to talk to you
You may have seen or heard a little bit about the changes we're making here at United Way. For over 50 years, we have funded partner agencies that are making a difference every day right here in our communities. And that is not going to change. But what is changing is that we are working toward applying a sharper focus to our investments and being able to better communicate the real results your gifts are making in people's lives.

This Community Impact model for United Way will help us work together with our partner agencies to effect real change on the issues most important in our community.

But how do we know what those issues are? Well, we want you to tell us!

Over the next few months, we will host a series of Community Conversations across Northeast Mississippi. We will invite a cross-section of our stakeholders -- donors, volunteers, agency clients, educators, faith leaders, partner agencies, healthcare professionals, corporate leadership, young adults, retirees, and more -- to tell us what issues you see in your communities. We will host approximately 50 of these conversations, across all 7 counties we cover, to truly get a chance to hear what YOU think United Way should be doing.

We will also implement an online survey so that everyone has an opportunity to give your two cents about how you want your United Way to look. So be on the look-out for an email invitation sometime in the near future.

We are excited about this process and about getting to talk face-to-face with so many of our neighbors. Your support makes the work of United Way and our partners possible, and we want your input on exactly how we can serve you and the community better.
