Dear Friends and Neighbors:

A public engagement meeting on the Diversion and Abandonment of Kirkwood #3 Lift Station to New Harvest Moon Lift Station  ( R-000536-0021)  was held this past Tuesday, October 22. The meeting was well attended despite conflicting with the first game of the World Series (Go Astros!)

Anticipated construction start date is January 6, 2020 and the project duration will be 520 calendar days.  The project will abandon the Kirkwood lift station located on S. Kirkwood Drive and divert the flow to the new Harvest Moon lift station. The proposed 42-inch sanitary sewer line will be installed along Carriage Hill, Lashbrook, Maple Rock Drive and run along the Harris County Flood Control District property.
