As promised, we will be providing weekly boatyard condition updates throughout the winter months to help ease any dry or wet storage customer concerns.

Following the new year, daily low temperatures in Rock Hall reached the upper 20s, with highs in the 50s. Days have been relatively sunny with light wind. Rain is expected today and into the weekend as daily highs fall to the low 40s.

As stated in our winter storage policy, all boats and docks are inspected daily at both locations to ensure vessels are in proper care and condition.

We remind our storage customers that while checking on your vessel, do not venture out on a pier or dock alone. Hidden ice or other slick surfaces may throw you off balance, taking you for a plunge without anyone near to assist in your rescue.

In addition, water that has accumulated on covers will freeze, making a very heavy and hazardous area of solid ice. Should you have a large accumulation of ice on your cover, we recommend contacting marina staff to remove the ice, or provide assistance to you for safe removal; both free of charge.

Please contact us with any questions, comments or concerns regarding the winter storage of your vessel(s). Local weather conditions may be accessed around the clock via our online weather station at havenharbour.com/weather .
