his prayer format is designed to provide an anointed atmosphere for meditating on the Word, lingering in God's presence, and listening to his voice. We will focus especially on God's trustworthy nature as the One who makes provision for all our needs. Childcare is provided through age 7.
Eastgate House of Prayer
ls always looking for new people who are interested in becoming involved at EHOP - whether it be through serving on a worship team as a singer, musician, or prayer leader; on a prophetic or healing team as a prayer minister; or on our hospitality team. So, if you're looking for an opportunity to grow in your gift, we'd love to have you! Right now we are specifically looking for bass players, prayer ministers, and adult childcare workers (18 years or older; background check required). Training is provided. Community Blood Drive
- Petra will be hosting a community blood drive on Friday, September 7, from 3 to 7 p.m. in the MPR lobby. Marriage Live
- Atrium registration for this powerful marriage program through Cleansing Stream continues
through Sunday, August 26
. Marriage Live's small-group study will take place on Sundays at 6 p.m. from September 23-November 4. Topics will include Hearing God's Voice, Living Covenant Together, Speaking Life Together, and Overcoming Together. During the full-day event on Saturday, November 3, you will bask in God's love and mercy, participate in worship, receive personalized prayer, and cover four dynamic topics for couples. Step-Up Day
, then, is on September 2. This is the Sunday when all Early Childhood and Elementary children move up to their new classes!
Fourth Grade Graduation
will take place on Sunday, August 26, as the children transition from Kingdom Kids to EDGE 56. Parents of fourth graders are welcome to join their children in the Summit that day from approximately 9 to 9:45 or 11 to 11:45 a.m. The fourth graders will then head to the fifth grade room to meet their EDGE 56 leaders.
We are gearing up for a new year in Kingdom Kids!
This September we are starting a new curriculum, and our team is excited about the new ways we can teach our kids about Jesus and following him! This year we are going to Dig Into Discipleship! Mission Prayer Focus

Andrea Beiler
serves as a Petra missionary on staff at the YWAM Redding base in California. Praise God that the YWAM houses were spared from the recent wildfires in California, although others in the area suffered damage. Pray for God’s anointing of wisdom as she helps to disciple and equip students for ministry outreaches to various countries around the world, and as she helps to lead teams on outreach. Pray also for release of provision of the remaining monthly financial support that she needs for this mission assignment.

- The meatball sub fundraiser meal for the team serving with ZOE International - which that had been promoted for Sunday, August 26 - has been postponed to a later date, to be determined.
