Video Contest Winner

Georgia CASA congratulate s Coweta CASA (Newnan, GA) for winning our first video contest!

 

The goal behind the contest was to inspire CASA affiliates to create a one - two minute video promoting the great work being done by CASA volunteers around the state! All video submissions were posted to Georgia CASA 's YouTube page and the top three videos (tallied by YouTube likes) were featured and voted on at the Georgia CASA Conference on August 4th. 

 

Coweta CASA's winning video was the sole creation of four CASA volunteers , showcasing the diversity of CASA advocates from the community who are Everyday Heroes for children placed in foster care. From equipment (just your average camera), to location (partnership with a local church), through the final edits , the volunteers spent little money , which resulted in a big win for Coweta CASA - exposure and appreciation of their volunteers, bragging rights, confidence in producing an award-winning video, and a $500 contribution from Georgia CASA to be used for volunteer recruitment !
