Head Start Basketball
Hoop Heads Newsletter

I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy as we all figure out how to best navigate this challenging time.

We'll continue to produce the Hoop Heads Pod three times per week, hopefully giving you some positive content to consume. Plus, be sure to check out our new webinar series!

Our camps in Strongsville, Oberlin & Hudson have been cancelled for now. The decision on Avon Lake will be made this later this summer. I'm hopeful that we may be able to reschedule a camp or two at some point in July or August. These are extraordinary times and we believe strongly that youth sports can help us in our recovery. However, it has to be done safely, with the utmost care for the health of our youth and our society.

Thanks,

This Week's Player Info
During these challenging times, our friends at Dr. Dish Basketball are continuing to create and deliver as many useful resources for players to get better at home.

Recently, they launched their FREE 10 Day Dr. Dish Virtual Camp designed for players to execute at home!

Throughout each of the 10 days, they packaged complete basketball training drills, workouts, inspiration, and content including:
  • Proper warm ups & stretching
  • Agility drills
  • Conditioning drills
  • Ball handling drills/progressions
  • Shooting drills/progressions
  • Challenges
  • Daily inspirational quotes and videos
  • And more!
*Each workout segment is led and executed by an elite skills trainer/coach.

Please note: Access to a Dr. Dish machine is absolutely NOT required to participate in the camp! Even if you don't have access to a hoop, there are a ton of drills that you'll still be able to execute alongside the pros.
