TALKS
THINK+change TALKS are provocative, in-person or video shorts on topics of interest to, or emerging issues for, people with IDD and those who care for and work with them.

Living with Disability
Want to better understand what living with disability is like?  Got a staff that you would like to?  This series is d esigned to provide community partners with an understanding of living with disability from the perspective of those who know it best: a parent of children with disabilities; a sibling of a person with disabilities; a person living with disability his entire life; a person with an acquired disability. 


TRAININGS
THINK+change TRAININGS are in-person or online, small or large group, targeted educational opportunities on issues that directly impact people with IDD and those who care for and work with them.
Communication with Citizens with IDD online series
This four-part video series provides a great foundation to build short trainings for law enforcement, other justice professionals, and community groups on best practices to improve community interactions. Colorado's Mandatory Reporting Law and Citizens with IDD online series
This four-part video series could be used to build short trainings for law enforcement, other justice professionals, financial institutions and community groups. Communication Quick Tips
Communication Quick Tips provides tips for communication with citizens with IDD, information on Colorado's mandatory reporting law, and a listing of the Arc Chapters in Colorado. Communication Quick Tips is printed in color and has 8-panels with 3 vertical folds so the final product measures approximately 3"x5" - perfect for a pocket, wallet, car dash storage, or briefcase. The Arc of Aurora was honored to accept the Larry Ruiz Excellence in the Community Award from the  Colorado Developmental Disabilities Council  on August 1, 2018, for  THINK+change's community education efforts.
