THINK+change TALKS are provocative, in-person or video shorts on topics of interest to, or emerging issues for, people with IDD and those who care for and work with them.
Living with Disability
Want to better understand what living with disability is like? Got a staff that you would like to? This series is designed to provide community partners with an understanding of living with disability from the perspective of those who know it best: a parent of children with disabilities; a sibling of a person with disabilities; a person living with disability his entire life; a person with an acquired disability.
THINK+change TRAININGS are in-person or online, small or large group, targeted educational opportunities on issues that directly impact people with IDD and those who care for and work with them.
Communication with Citizens with IDD online series
This four-part video series provides a great foundation to build short trainings for law enforcement, other justice professionals, and community groups on best practices to improve community interactions. Pair the videos in this series with Communication Quick Tips Reference Cards (see TOOLS section in this newsletter) for portable reference.
