Catholic Schools Week
Please continue to report positive cases and close contacts with positive cases to the office as soon as possible. If you have any questions regarding a positive case, close contact, quarantine dates, or anything else relating to our COVID procedures, please contact me.
With streets a little more crowded due to recent snowfall, please give yourselves a few extra minutes at arrival and dismissal. We are working with our plow company to remove as much snow as possible from walkways and curbs and are running out of space to put all of the snow!
Catholic Schools Week began on Sunday, January 31. This national week of celebrating Catholic Schools will look different than in past years, but our goal is the same: to celebrate St. Edward School, its students, families, and staff. Visit our website to view videos of our current students, parents, staff, alumni and Fr. Dominic and myself.
Thank you to the 8th Grade class parents who helped to make the Virtual Trivia Night a success! It was a fun evening of trivia and fellowship.
We want to send our warmest wishes to Fr. Dominic this weekend as he celebrates his birthday! We are so blessed at St. Edward Parish and School to have the leadership and support of Father Dominic. Happy Birthday and Thank You for your commitment to our school!
Registration is entirely online this year. Use this link to register for 2021-22. We have opened registration to new and prospective students and have begun welcoming new families! The "February Freeze" tuition will end on February 28. Register and pay the registration fee by February 28 to lock in this year's tuition rates!
I want to thank each family for your continued support of St. Edward School, for your adherence to our health and safety protocols this year, and for your ongoing prayers.
If you have any questions, please reach out.
St. Edward, pray for us!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Sara Lasica

Catholic Schools Week Prayer
God of love and mercy,
we know that you are always with us.
May we always carry the light of Christ in our hearts, in our minds and in our actions,
and may our school continue to be a place where we work as a community to help live the Gospel message; to love one another as you have loved us.
Amen.
~Capuchin Franciscans, Province of Ireland

Strong families foster strong children. As Catholics, our source of strength comes from God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and the best way to develop a relationship with our loving God is to pray! Pray as a family daily. Grace before dinner, a Hail Mary before bedtime, an Our Father on the way to school in the morning. Find a time, pick a prayer, and grow closer to God!
