Federation 2019 budget submission
The Federation has submitted its key recommendations for the federal 2019 budget. We are recommending that the government increase funding for the humanities and social sciences, improve support for graduate students and post-doctoral fellows, expand work-integrated learning opportunities, and improve post-secondary access and success for Indigenous peoples.

Help improve equity in research
The federal government is launching a new program designed to improve equity and diversity in the research community, modeled after the U.K.'s Athena SWAN program. The program designers are seeking input from the research community this fall.
