8:00, 9:30, & 11:00 am Services

Sunday, we delve into a painful topic for many in our society: divorce. As long as there has been marriage, there has been a wish to somehow get out of it. Divorce provides the legal means to dissolve a marital union. Those who come to Jesus to ask Him a question about this issue do so with the intent of hoping He will make a mistake. Their interaction shows us much about the society at the time, as well as God's thoughts on it. We are all acquainted with divorce somehow and have ideas on whether it is moral or not. I invite you to read over the text so the Lord will begin speaking to you from it. Let us humbly and prayerfully enter into our time of worship  on Sunday

Peace of Christ be unto you,
- Pastor Colleen

"Sometimes God lets you hit rock bottom so that you will discover that He is the rock at the bottom."
- Dr. Tony Evans

"God compared the church to a marriage. Until the church realizes the covenant of spouses is vital for the health of the church, the community, it will continue to decline in relevance."
- Aaron D. Behr

This week in worship

This week we will sing several great hymns that we have not pulled out in quite awhile: Charles Wesley's And Can It Be? -  a praise written in real humility as it recognizes that Christ's sacrifice for us is a gift that we do not deserve - Have Thine Own Way - a beautiful prayer of surrender - and Lord, Speak To Me - powerful words about how God graciously uses His broken and lost children to do His work in His Kingdom.

The band will lead us in songs of praise including our newest addition, Only King Forever, by Elevation Worship. I have found the music from this mega-church in Charlotte, NC full of passion for knowing the Lord's heart through His Holy Spirit, lyrically rich and thoughtful, and beautiful in melody - I would highly recommend adding them to your online playlists! Start with this song.

NEW: Community Groups
This fall we are launching exciting 10-week groups for growing closer to others in the church while growing closer to God.

The Power of Prayer
Hi! I'm Sheilagh Fox. I want to thank you all for your prayers and good wishes during my heart valve replacement operation. The scarey part of it all was being alone! This was happily resolved by timely visits from the pastors and by prayers from my church family. Many times in hospital I felt the strength & encouragement of THE LORD....He was my anchor and together this enabled me to reach out and encapture the will to carry on. Again, thank you all SO very much!
