A Letter from Our President
Dear Magnificat Community,
I hope that you are enjoying a relaxing and rejuvenating summer. Here at Magnificat we have been busy planning for the 2018-2019 school year and we look forward to the many exciting things that are in store for our students, parents, alumnae, and friends this year.
Highlights include our upcoming Athletic Hall of Fame Induction, the annual Reunion Weekend, a new partnership with The Music Settlement for our student musicians, and more faith-formation opportunities for the adult members of our community. Our Computer Science Department continues to expand with the addition of AP Computer Science Principles and the continuation of Project-Based Coding. We look forward to sharing details about all of this and more as the school year unfolds.
Earlier this month, I had the privilege of visiting the Villa of the Sisters of the Humility of Mary for their Community Days. During the closing Mass, they commissioned and blessed all of their Partners in Ministry, including Magnificat students, parents, alumnae, faculty, and staff. As we look to this coming year and beyond, we remain rooted in the HM Sisters' vision. Thank you for all you do to contribute to our Mission to educate young women to learn, lead, and serve in the Spirit of Mary's Magnificat.
