HPSCPY Musical Playground Installation
&
Elective Materials Needed

We are pleased to announce that HPS will be partnering with ArtsWave and Melodic Connections to add a “musical playground” to our HPSCPY project! Mrs. Hughes and Mr. Messerly are teaching an elective to grades 3-6 that, in partnership with these groups, will be designing the installation. To help the students construct their designs, we are seeking the following materials, which we hope you may have lying around your garage or basement:

  1. PVC pipe (any & all sizes)
  2. wood scraps (all sizes & types)
  3. buckets any sizes
  4. rope
  5. soup cans
  6. soda cans
  7. wooden dowels
  8. old tools (any & all types)
  9. keys of all sizes & shapes (chimes)

Items can be sent in with your child, dropped off in the office, or dropped off in Mrs. Hughes’ room. Thank you!
