Matt Drowne - Elementary School Campus
Mr. Drowne is the Elementary School Director at AZACS. He
began his career in special education as a teacher 15 years ago, and has served as a special education administrator for the past 8 years.
Matt is working on is upgrading the safety and security of the campus. Here are two safety initiatives Mr. Matt has worked on:
Facilities
"We are excited to share about the successful installation of a closed circuit security camera system for our campus. Our security camera system is linked to our campus security alarm and we can access it remotely, day or night. This is one of many measures and projects we are undertaking this year to ensure a safe school environment for our students, staff and families. Mr. Dwan has worked tirelessly this summer to keep our campus safe, clean and inviting! He can never hear the words 'Thanks for all you do' enough!!!"
Safety
"In an effort to keep our campus safe, we have engaged in a partnership with the Phoenix Police Department-Mountain View Precinct. The Community Action Officer, Officer Aaron Stevens, will be working to ensure our campus is monitored and has a police presence both during and after school hours. We will also be collaborating with the Phoenix Police Dept. this year to review our Emergency Response policies and procedures. We live is a crazy world and safety is always our number one focus. Our goal is to be prepared for events that we never actually experience. Our kiddos are worth it!! We are very grateful for their willingness to support AZACS! A big shout out to Phoenix PD!!"
