The Second Sunday After Christmas
January 5, 2020

"We invite everyone to share communion around God's altar.
We strive to be a welcoming and relevant Christian community doing what matters through prayer, worship, teaching, outreach, fellowship, and service.

We will demonstrate the real life application of scripture, tradition, and
reason by providing a safe place to respond to each other's needs,
hurts, joys, and interests."

Shining our Light:
2020 Annual Giving Campaign

Thank you for being grateful, responsible stewards of the gifts we receive from God.  What a blessing and honor to be stewards of what God has given to us!  Thank you for supporting our ministry and mission at Resurrection and allowing Resurrection members to be beacons of light in our parish and out in the community. No matter what amount you pledge to Resurrection, your commitment makes a difference in the ministry and mission we do. As part of your spiritual discipline, we hope you will make sure to joyfully turn in your pledge so we can continue to shine our light in the parish and in our community.

You can pledge by filling out a card found in the narthex, or the easiest and most secure way to offer your pledge is by going to   https://www.resurrectionsautee.com/estimate-of-giving-for-2020.

We hope to have all 2020 commitments turned in by December 8th. Thank you for being a blessing!

We will resume youth group on Sunday, January 12th.

Youth parents, please keep an eye out for email reminders from me about registration for winter Happening registration (high school) and spring New Beginnings registration (middle school).

Happening 73 Team Deadline
Happening 73 Team apps are due THIS Sunday, the 5th. Whether you're applying for Happening 73 Team or Celebration Team, apps are due and you use the SAME app for either.

Happening is a renewal weekend intended for high schoolers. Adults attend as chaperones, but teenagers lead the weekend for teenagers. Really, teenagers lead the entire weekend. Twice a year, over 150 young people come together at Camp Mikell to talk about God and share the unconditional love of Jesus Christ. Happening is open to all high school youth.

Candidates
First time youth attending Happening come to the weekend as candidates. The weekend is for the candidates!

Team
Happening Team is the group of high school youth that lead the entire weekend. Adults are a part of team to chaperone, but they step back and let the teens make it all "happen".

Celebration Team
Celebration Team is a special part of the Happening Team that comes together Saturday night to pray for the candidates on site at Camp Mikell.

Did you know there is an exercise class at Resurrection?
