What:  Bethany Shane's uncle, William "Bill" Shane, was diagnosed with leukemia in 2015. He went into remission after going through stem cell treatment before having a stroke, which cut his life short. What: 5 team members willing to perform 5 tasks in the outdoors for a local charity. $50 fee per team will go to your designated charity. For every pint and/or mug sold to team members or fans during the event, Bent River will donate $1 to your designated charity - so invite others to cheer on your team! 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prize money. Good food and drinks during the event, with entertainment following. The number of teams will be limited, so sign up early! Challenges may include beer mug relay, keg roll race, snowball throw, snowball toss, polar bowling, tug of war, or similar challenges depending on the weather. The fifth challenge will be announced on the day of the event. If your team fails to show up, then your fee is forfeited and divided between the remaining charities.

What: Walk With Ease, a n Arthritis Foundation exercise program.  $50 for Health Fitness members and $60 for other. Nonmembers have the option of using the gym through March 5 at a reduced rate. A minimum of 12 participants is required for this class.  People with arthritis who can be on their feet for 10 minutes without increased pain can have success with this program.
