Only 85 More Days...

Election Day is November 6th!

We are headed toward the end of the Proposition 3 campaign, but we don't see that as any reason to slow down. UHPP is continuing to be active in the community, educating voters on why Utah needs full Medicaid expansion.

Economic Benefits of Prop 3's Medicaid Expansion

We released a new report this week outlining the economic benefits of implementing full Medicaid expansion, and the results are clear:

Proposition 3 is a great deal for Utah!

It will bring back more than $800 million in annual federal spending to Utah. On top of providing needed healthcare to more than 150,000 Utahns, this annual infusion of federal dollars will ripple through the economy creating and maintaining thousands of jobs, and hundreds of millions in new economic activity.

Proposition 3's Medicaid expansion will benefit workers and small business owners with nearly $785 million in new income.

By passing Proposition 3, we will get back $800 million of our tax money, and the Utah economy will grow by nearly $1.7 billion .

Increased economic activity will benefit local, county, and state governments by generating more than $70 million in new tax revenue.
