August 14, 2018

No amount of twisting, shaking, or shimmying can delay it any longer- the School Year is here! We celebrated on Sunday at the Frosh Family BBQ and welcomed all of the new (and, in some cases, returning) families to Carondelet. With optimism and enthusiasm, we look forward to the first day of classes tomorrow and the school year ahead. We hope you do, too!

New morning dropoff location

This year we implement a new morning dropoff system that will create a safer driving environment on- and off-campus and increase available student parking spots.
The new dropoff area is near the lawn next to the chapel and the gym.

The new dropoff zone is marked above in bright green.

Parent/Guardians will now:
  • Drive past the Academic Building and faculty parking lot
  • Turn left to pass the Convent and Chapel
  • Turn left into to the new dropoff area (marked in green).
Carondelet staff will guide you to the new dropoff zone the next few mornings.

Auditions for fall production, "Dogfight"

On November 21, 1963, three Marines decide to spend their last night before their deployment to "this little country near India called Vietnam" for one final night of debauchery, partying and a little trouble. A "dogfight" ensues: who can find the ugliest girl in town and bring her to a party where she will be judged? Corporal Eddie Birdlace finds his winner in a young waitress named Rose -- who rewrites the rules of the game and teaches him the power of compassion.
"Dogfight" Auditions:
Mon. Aug. 20 - Fri. Aug. 24; 3:30 - 5:30 p.m. @ DLS Theatre
Audition Workshop on August 16, 3:30 - 5:00 p.m.
